Winter Mountain Walking Torridon
"I had a prior idea of what we might do during our 5 days in the mountains. I wasn't even close having done more, seen more and learned more than I thought possible. Thank you for everything" Jane Miller
Winter Mountain Walking Torridon
"Thanks for coming out on a winter evening to collect me from the railway station. That was the start of a memorable trip. It's hard to write about something that really can only be experienced. Not enough superlatives! The snow, the Eagles, feeling safe and looked after, the islands, the seascapes and, of course, the mountains. Just a few words which are inadequate for what I actually achieved. Thank you to all in Applecross. No sooner on the train south and I'm planning another trip" James Brydon

Discover the Untamed Beauty of the North West Highlands
Embark on a five‑day winter mountain adventure through the wild and varied landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. Far from the busy trails of Aviemore and Fort William, you’ll enjoy days where the peaks are often yours alone, immersing yourself in the rugged wilderness of the Wester Ross mountains.
The isolation of these Munros brings the Highlands to life in winter, offering frequent encounters with wildlife such as mountain hares, golden eagles, and red deer. Our journey focuses on the dramatic Torridon range, with opportunities to explore further afield—whether north to An Teallach or south to the sweeping ridges of Kintail.
We’ll provide all the equipment you need as we aim to summit as many Munros as possible during the week. Each trip is unique, shaped by the aspirations of the group, with long days on the mountains balanced by warm, welcoming evenings in Lochcarron.
No extensive experience is required, but good fitness is essential to fully enjoy the pace and challenge of multiple mountain days. Each outing is designed around a specific summit, with guidance on skills and safety to help you grow in confidence in the winter environment.
Join us this season to witness breathtaking scenery and explore Scotland’s most distinctive peaks. Words can only capture so much—so if you’d like to know more, give us a call or email us for a friendly chat.
